This morning (6/07/19) at about 10.30 urgent calls were sent out for assistance at Stanger Sweet Wholesalers in Mahathma Gandhi St, Kwadukuza. Smoke could be seen from all around Stanger from a fire that spread rapidly engulfing the entire building. Residents and occupants of neighboring bulidings were evacuated for their safety. The cause of the fire and the true extent of the damage is unknown at this time as fire fighters are still at the scene working to bring the blaze under control.
